Our factory in the Philippines takes charge of every phase of producing "DYED WASHI," from paper making to coloring. The process of coloring is instructed by a Japanese designer. Kozo, a plant with strong long fiber, is used as the prime material for DYED WASHI. Botanical pigments such as persimmon tannin, ink and lacquer from Japan, coconut colorings from the Philippines are used for color creation.
