Suho International Art Exchange Exhibit

From October 6th to the 27th, 2001, "2001 Suho International Art Exchange Exhibit" was hosted at one of our associated companies, Suho Memorial Paper Museum in Taipei, Taiwan.
In this Exhibit, artists were invited from overseas to exhibit their works and present seminars.
They are planning on publishing a synopsis of this exhibition.
The invited artists were Joel Fisher from USA and Junko Kobayashi (maiden name, Fuyuki) from Japan.

These images are from the exhibition of Junko Kobayashi, a washi designer, at Suho International Art Exchange Exhibit.
"TEMPU" (back) offers a new concept in partitions. Created from an image of the wind blowing in the sky, TEMPU expresses see-through openness and transparency on a two-dimensional surface.
The lighting sculpture "MOKUMOKU" (front, on the right) is created from an image of the Sun and waves in the Ocean, the light of the newborn life.
Another lighting sculpture, "GURUGURU" (front, on the left) is created from an image of linkage and continuity existing in nature, such as the wheel of life, river flows and tree rings.
